Boots Pharmaceuticals Preservative free Deep Cleaning System for all types of contact lenses

  • Preservative free
  • Disinfects
  • Cleans
Developed with Boots Opticians the Deep Cleaning System consists of a solution of hydrogen peroxide and a special 'neutralising' lense case which is for the effective disinfection of all types of contact lenses including silicone hydrogels.

The hydrogen peroxide solution and polaxamer surfactant disinfects and cleans the lenses. The built-in grey neutralising disc in the lens case breaks down the hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen.

Disinfection and neutralisation takes a minimum of 6 hours. Your lenses are not ready to wear until the 6 hour soak in the lens case is complete.

Suitable for

Suitable for adults and children.

How to use

Please read product details carefully before use.

Check the special lens case contains a grey neutralizing disc in the base.
Fully open the flip top cap on the Deep Cleaning System.

Place the lenses in the case and thoroughly rinse the lenses in the basket with solution for 5 seconds.
Pour solution into the lens case to fill to the line. Take care not to overfill or underfill.

Close case, do not shake, and allow lenses to soak for a minimum of 6 hours, preferably overnight to ensure disinfection and neutralisation is complete. Ensure lens case is upright at all times, until neutralization is complete.

Remove lenses from case and insert directly into the eye.

Discard the used solution left in the lens case.

If recommended by your optician the following additional products can be used as part of your daily contact lense routine:

  • Boots Pharmaceuticals Sterile Saline rinses away cleaner before insertation
  • Boots Pharmaceuticals Protein Remover Tablets remove build up of protein.

You may store your lenses in the unopened case for up to 14 days. After this disinfection is required every 14 days.

Rinse the Deep Cleaning System lens case daily with our Sterile Saline and allow to air dry.

Consult your eye care professional before changing solutions.

Important info

NEVER ALLOW UNNEUTRALISED SOLUTION TO COME INTO CONTACT WITH THE EYE. IT IS A HYDROGEN PEROXIDE DISINFECTANT, WHICH WILL CAUSE A BURNING SENSATION. If this happens accidentally, immediately remove lenses and rinse the open eye with plenty of sterile water. Seek medical advice if discomfort persists.

Always use special “neutralizing” lens case provided. Ensure that the grey disc is in the case before use.

Never transfer the solution to another container.

Take care not to spill un-neutralised solution as this may bleach fabrics, carpets etc.

NEVER attempt to clean or rinse your contact lenses in your hands with our Deep Cleaning Solution.

NEVER attempt to clean your contact lenses with an additional cleaner as this may result in foaming and cause the case over the flow.

Remember to use only the specially designed lens case.

Keep out of sight and reach of children.

IMPORTANT: This is not a multipurpose solution. Do not put unneutralised solution directly into your eyes.

Always soak lenses for at least 6 hours in the special 'neuralising' case enclosed before inserting your eyes.
