For the short term treatment of acute moderate pain such as headache, period pain, neuralgia, toothache and rheumatic pain that is not relieved by aspirin, ibuprofen or paracetamol alone.
Adults and children over 12 years of age.
How to use
Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.
Check the foil is not broken before use. If it is, do not take that caplet. Swallow each caplet with water.
Adults: Take one or two caplets, every 4 hours, if you need to. Don't take more than 8 caplets in any 24 hours.
Children aged 16- 18 years: Take one or two caplets, every 4 hours, if you need to. Don't take more than 8 caplets in any 24 hours.
Children aged 12 years to 15 years: Take one caplet, every 6 hours, if you need to. Don't take more than 4 caplets in any 24 hours.
Do not take for more than 3 days. If you need to use this medicine for more than 3 days you must speak to your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
Do not give to children under 12 years, due to the risk of severe breathing problems.
Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to. If you do not get better, talk to your doctor.
Hazards and Cautions
Do not take:
- If you have severe liver disease
- If you are pregnant
•If you are breastfeeding
Do not take with anything else containing paracetamol while taking this medicine.
Talk to a doctor at once if you take too much of this medicine, even if you feel well.
- If you need to take this medicine continuously for more than 3 days you should see your doctor or pharmacist.
- This medicine contains codeine which can cause addiction if you take it continuously for more than 3 days. If you take this medicine for headaches for more than 3 days it can make them worse.
This medicine can make you feel sleepy. Do not drive or use machines while taking this medicine until you are sure you are not affected. See the leaflet inside for more information.
Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.
Use by the date on the end flap of the carton.
- This is a medicine; Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist.

Codeine and Paracetamol.
Active Ingredients: Each tablet contains Codeine Phosphate Hemihydrate 8 mg, Paracetamol 500 mg.
Also contains: Sodium Metabisulphite (E223).
