Aptamil Anti-Reflux From Birth to 1 Year 900g
Thickened formula for the dietary management of frequent reflux and regurgitation suitable from birth. Babies often regurgitate small amounts of milk after feeding, sometimes with wind; this is known as posseting and is perfectly normal. Thickened formulas can be helpful in cases of frequent regurgitation or reflux, helping feeds to stay in the stomach. Aptamil Anti-Reflux is specially formulated with carob bean gum, which thickens the formula on mixing and remains thick in the stomach, helping the feed to stay down. Aptamil Anti-Reflux is a nutritionally complete formula; you can use it to feed your baby as a sole source of nutrition from birth and as part of a weaning diet from 6 months to 1 year. It is formulated to be easy to digest and also contains LCPs (Omega 3 and 6) and nucleotides.

Preparing your baby's feed
Because powdered milks are not sterile, failure to follow instructions may make your baby ill.
1. Wash hands and sterilise all utensils according to manufacturers' instructions.
2. Boil 1 litre of fresh water. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.
3. Measure the required amount of boiled water into a large sterilised bottle. Be careful due to the risk of scalding. Seal bottle and allow to cool for 45 minutes.
4. Using the scoop provided, level off the powder with the built-in leveller. Do not press or heap the powder.
5. Add one scoop per 30ml (1 fl oz) of boiled and cooled water. Add the correct number of scoops to the water. Adding too many or too few scoops can be harmful.
6. Replace seal on bottle and roll the bottle upright between the palms of hands - roll it strongly for 5 seconds. The time between adding the scoops and rolling the bottle should be as short as possible.
7. Shake bottle for 20 seconds and then leave to stand for 7 minutes to allow it to thicken.
Important Feeding Instructions
